I’ve been in the fitness industry for over a decade, starting out as a fitness instructor on the gym floor before moving into one to one personal training. At the start of 2024, I took the leap to launch my own personal training business.My passion lies in helping people discover a way of training and living that supports them in becoming fitter, healthier, and being active without extremes or quick fixes.In 2014, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. This has made me appreciate the role exercise plays in maintaining health, strength, and independence, while also teaching me the importance of balance and sustainability.Through my Everyday Strong Personal Training and Coaching, I work with clients both in person and online. This isn’t about shortcuts. It’s about creating lasting lifestyle changes, finding approaches that work for you, and doing things differently to achieve long-term results.

It's about making your approach to nutrition work for you in the real world, your day to day.Before we start we will have a video consultation make sure this is right for you. If so we go ahead and discuss your goals and make a plan.

I wanted to start increasing my fitness and strength, I knew I needed help to start me out on this journey (I was a complete gym beginner) that’s when I got in contract with Karen. I explained my aims and some concerns I had with some health issues. Karen took all this on board and designed a plan for me. We had sessions in person, and she sent home sessions through an app. All very accessible for even a beginner like me. Throughout our time, she would always be monitoring and adjusting the levels we moved on to. Karen also provided a comprehensive menu plan (nothing too drastic) but again very maintainable.

I've been with Karen for a while now & TBH....her P Training has helped me more than just from a physical perspective. I think this is down to her, I suppose, holistic approach to what she does. Everyone has their own reasons for going down the PT route, for me....it was to gain strength as means of future proofing. I'm not old but was beginning to FEEL old & getting nervous of falling etc! My strength has 100% improved and my outlook has also. I've had a couple of physical hurdles over past while but....as Karen has instilled in me...the body is made up of so many parts.....most workouts can be adjusted & strengthening will only help.
